We acknowledge and value your privacy.  You should not have concerns related to privacy when you access this Web site.  You may visit this site anonymously without revealing your identity, or any personal information to us.  In order to better understand what our customers view when visiting our site we track anonymous statistics related to pages visited. We do not collect personal information unless you voluntarily provide it in order to receive additional information.

When you request a white paper, product information or send an e-mail message to us, you voluntarily give us your personal information.  This information is stored by us that we can fulfill your request.  We store all such information in a responsible manner to protect your privacy.  This information may be used for internal marketing purposes, but it is never sold to marketing organizations, publishers or other third parties. Additionally, when you visit our site we may collect anonymous statistics compiled by our web servers through log files such as the Internet Provider address of the requestor, the web pages and images requested from our site and the referring URL.

How We Use Information

We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, and/or third parties to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on our users that detail viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is tied to your personally identifiable information which, in turn, will provide offers and improve the content of the site for you. This profile is used to tailor your visit to our website, and to direct pertinent marketing promotions to you. We do not share your profile with other third parties.

Established customers will receive information on products, services, special deals and an email newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see the Opt-out section for further information.

Service Announcements

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, though you can deactivate the account. These communications, however, are not promotional in nature.

We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the users wishes.

Opt-Out

Our users are given the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for information. For example, our order form has an ‘opt-out’ mechanism so if you subscribe to our service, you can keep your email address off our list. If you no longer wish to receive our email newsletter you may opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking on the “Unsubscribe Link” at the bottom of the email.

Business documents submitted to us via the ebXML Web Service or via the plugins are protected using TLS and 1024-bit RSA and 3DES. All Business documents are stored on our servers accompanied with their digital signatures.

Your personal information is accessible only to those employees who reasonably need to know it in the course of their job.  We reinforce the importance of confidentiality and privacy with our employees and contractors throughout the year.  Employees and contractors are aware that a failure to properly treat confidential information may result in disciplinary measures for employees and termination of contractor engagements.

Supplementation of Information

In order for this website to properly fulfil its obligation to users it is necessary for us to supplement the information we receive with information from third party sources.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement so our users are always aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
