E-Invoicing and Payments Event Success in Manchester, UK

Last week we were delighted to hold our autumn seminars at Old Trafford stadium, the home of Manchester United football club. We ran two days of events, the first for E-invoicing and the second for our Bacsactive-IP and Aztech Bacs product ranges. We enjoyed an excellent turnout on both days, with delegates travelling from far and wide to Manchester to see morning presentations and take part in afternoon interactive workshop sessions.
‘E-invoicing Essentials’ (Thursday 16th) gave attendees a general overview both AR and AP invoicing, and an opportunity to share their own projects and experiences with Accountis EIP experts in the workshops. A mix of SME, corporate and public sector delegates ensured that all aspects of e-invoicing were discussed from approval automation, supplier onboarding and project planning. It seems to be clear that e-invoicing is very much at the top of the agenda for finance departments in the next 12 months.
“Very professional event. The knowledge of Fundtech employees was excellent and messages were conveyed clearly.” Lancashire County Council
‘Get the Best from Bacs’ (Friday 17th) focused on news and developments from our Bacs product ranges, with a spotlight on Direct Debit Management, Workflow and Sage Integration in the afternoon workshops. Customers from all sectors attended the event including ICICI Bank, Santander Corporate Banking, The Trafford Centre, Mills Group and NHS Manchester, who were able to learn more about the products they own, and discuss specific applications with members of our Bacs development and support teams.
“Very comprehensive. Innovations, including mobile technology in particular, were very interesting.” Santander Corporate Banking
“Many thanks for an enjoyable two days which was both informative and worthwhile from a networking point of view.” – NHS Manchester
We would like to thank everyone who attended the event and to all the staff at Old Trafford who provided a first-rate venue. Excellent delegate participation also helped make the two days both beneficial and enjoyable for everyone involved. Our next UK event will be our London Insights Conference in March 2011. Registration for this event will open shortly.
