E-Invoicing in The Times
If you haven’t already seen it, The Times today includes a supplement entitled “e-money,” (produced by Raconteur) and includes a number of articles on electronic invoicing. It is great to see e-invoicing finally being discussed in the mainstream press.
There are two articles discussing e-invoicing; the first ‘The hard road to electronic invoicing’ highlights the main issues facing our industry and the overall growth of e-invoicing in Europe. It includes quotes from Bo Harold (European Expert Group on E-Invoicing Chairman) and our very own Sales Director, Ifor Williams. The second article “A challenge for the banks” discusses how the banks will start to play an increasingly important role as e-invoicing service providers for corporate customers. This article recognises RBS as a pioneering bank in this space with quotes from Ifor and Ian Watkinson, Head of Product Innovation at RBS.
