Accountis in the Press: American Banker, International Banking Systems Journal

There was a good mention of Accountis in American Banker this week. In his article ‘More Firms See Opportunity in Electronic Invoicing Field,’ Steve Bills discusses the recent flurry of collaborations between e-invoicing vendors and large corporates/banks. Accountis’ recent partnership with Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is included, with quotes from Ian Watkinson of RBS. The article is concluded with a good quote from David Fish, a senior analyst at Mercator Advisory Group Inc. He summarises;

“In corporate payments, it’s all about the relationship and not just the product, and many banking companies ultimately will offer some kind of electronic invoicing”, Mr. Fish said. “Whether they build, partner, or buy, that’s another question.”
