Registration
In order to use Accountis' service, you must first complete the registration form. During registration you are required to give contact information (such as name and email address). We use this information to contact you about services on our site which you have expressed an interest. It is required that you have unique identifiers (such as, username and password), and company information such as company number and Tax registration numbers. This is a requirement in identifying your company's identity and its validity.

User Profile
We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, and/or third parties to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on our users that details viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is tied to your personally identifiable information which, in turn, will provide offers and improve the content of the site for you. This profile is used to tailor your visit to our website, and to direct pertinent marketing promotions to you. We do not share your profile with other third parties.

Modifying Your Profile
You can access your personal information by visiting your account. This will allow you to modify your: name, email address, mailing address and password etc.

How we use Information
Once you have registered with Accountis whether it be for further information or registering as our customer we will not pass your details to anyone else.

We collate statistics about site traffic, sales and other commercial information. We will not disclose this information to any third parties.

Accountis uses cookies as part of the mechanism to hold the information about each unique visitor. A cookie is a piece of data stored on your computer tied to information about you. We use persistent session ID cookies, which means that a small text file is stored on your hard drive for an extended period of time. If you reject the cookie, you can still use our site. Persistent cookies enable us to track and target your interests, and enhances your experience on our site.

Log Files
Like most standard website servers we use log files. Communications from the Site

Special Offers and Updates
We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see the Opt-out section for further information.

Service Announcements
On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, though you can deactivate the account. These communications, however, are not promotional in nature.

We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the users wishes.

Opt-out
Our users are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for information. For example, our order form has an 'opt-out' mechanism so if you subscribe to our service, you can keep your email address off our list.

From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. This information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site and our service. Users' personally identifiable information is not shared with third parties and will not be used to offer 3rd party services.

When an user of the Accountis service sends a document, Accountis may contact the recipient to assist them in receiving and processing the document. In the process of assisting the recipient, Accountis may gather information about their business and inform them of relevant services Accountis may have to offer. This information will not be declared to third parties and third party services will not be offered or communicated.

Security
The Accountis Website takes every precaution to protect your information. Any sensitive information or business document entered on the Accountis website is protected using the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. Business documents submitted to Accountis via the ebXML Web Service or via the plugins are protected using TLS and 1024-bit RSA and 3DES. All Business documents are stored on our servers accompanied with their digital signatures.

Supplementation of Information
In order for this website to properly fulfil its obligation to users it is necessary for us to supplement the information we receive with information from 3rd party sources.

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as postcode, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personally identifiable information. This can usually be done at the profile page or by emailing our Customer Support Team at support@accountis.com.

Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement so our users are always aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

If, however, we are going to use users' personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users via email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. However, if users have opted out of all communication with the site, or deleted/deactivated their account, then they will not be contacted, nor will their personal information be used in this new manner.
