Management Biographies
Rhys Jones, Chief Technical Officer
Rhys co-founded SecureTrading Ltd in 1996 and oversaw its growth to a highly specialised internet credit card processing company leading the UK market. He continued as MD for a further 18 months after the sale of the company to an investment group in early 2000. Rhys has pioneered many internet technologies, including distributed search engines, Java database adaptors, UK, European and US credit and debit processing systems, and advanced encryption and digital signature implementations.
Peter Radcliffe, Executive Chairman
Peter has extensive experience in the management and profitable development of major retail banking and IT business outsourcing operations, previously Managing Director First Data Asia Pacific and Vice President at NCR combined with active involvement in entrepreneurship and early stage businesses. Peter works on corporate strategy and business development as the company increases its global footprint.
Dyfan Williams, Chief Financial Officer
Dyfan started his career in the utility sector developing commercial trading systems before moving into corporate finance and consulting. As a cofounder of Accountis, Dyfan is responsible for the finance and strategy function of the company. Dyfan has worked and studied in France holding a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Computer Science. Dyfan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Nia Williams, Financial Controller
Nia has a degree in Business administration from Staffordshire University and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Association of Accounting Technicians. Prior to joining Accountis as Financial Controller in January 2006, Nia worked for nine years in a private accounting practice, gaining extensive experience in accounts preparation, audit and taxation.
Ifor Williams, Sales Director
Ifor has worked in a number of industries and academia. Prior to joining Accountis, he was responsible for the Sales & Marketing functions of SecureTrading Ltd, an Internet Payment Service Provider. His academic background includes seven years researching, designing and implementing high-performance computer systems following completion of a PhD at Manchester University.
Richard Cogswell, Client Relationship Director
Richard joined Accountis in May 2004 with over 13 years experience of working in Financial Services gaining experience with the likes of Barclays Bank and Commercial Union before moving into software solution sales. Richard is an acknowledged e-payments and EIPP specialist and works with key accounts DHL and the RBS Group.
John Pierce-Jones, Project Manager
Following the completion of an MSc in Computing in 1998, John joined Hyder Services (later Logica) as an Oracle DBA. He worked on support for the electricity and gas business as well as projects for the NHS and local authorities. He then moved to Siemens where he spent four years working on large projects with most of the UK's energy suppliers. A PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner he joined Accountis in December 2005. He now works on BACS and EIPP projects in the private and public sectors.
Susan Davies, Marketing and Brand Manager
After graduating from Manchester University with a BA (Joint Hons) in Business Management and Public Media, Susan has held various marketing roles, mostly in the Internet environment, gaining over 10 years experience in website design, copy writing, advertising, graphic design, event management, promotions and PR. Susan previously worked with Rhys Jones as Creative Marketing Manager at SecureTrading Ltd before taking on the role as Marketing and Brand Manager for Accountis Europe Ltd when the company formed in 2002.
